How Directory For USA works, step by step: finding and contacting local businesses, writing reviews, and listing and growing your own business.

For people looking for a business

Search or browse. Type what you need, such as "roofer" or "Italian restaurant", or a business name, and add a city or state. You can also browse by category or location.
Narrow it down. Use filters such as "Verified" and "Featured". Featured listings appear first in results and are marked with a badge, because their owners pay for that placement.
Compare listings. Each listing shows the address, opening hours, photos, services, rating and reviews. Businesses with more than one location list their other locations too.
Sign in to see more. Phone numbers, emails and websites are shown to everyone on Verified and Featured listings, and to signed-in visitors on all other listings. Signing up is free.
Get in touch. Call, visit the website or send a message from the listing page. Your message goes straight to the business.
Leave a review. After you've used a business, share your honest experience. Confirm your email address once, and your review is published right away.
Help keep it clean. If you see a fake or abusive review, report it. Reviews that enough people report are hidden automatically.

For business owners

Create a free account and confirm your email address.
Find or add your business. Search for your business first. If it's already listed, select "Claim this business". If not, add it for free. New listings go live right away after automatic checks for duplicates and spam.
Claim it. We email a free 6-digit code to the business email on the listing, or to any address on your business website's domain. For listings nobody manages yet, you can choose a $29 one-time Instant claim instead. Approval is automatic.
Complete your listing. Add photos, your logo, opening hours, services and payment methods. More complete listings give customers more reasons to choose you.
Add your other locations. Link branches to your main listing. "Add branch" copies your details, so you only enter the new address and phone.
Respond to customers. Read messages from customers in your dashboard, and reply publicly to reviews.
Grow, if you want to. Upgrade a listing to Verified or Featured for a badge, visible contact details and better placement, or run a banner ad from Advertise. Plans are paid in advance and never renew automatically.
