Add a free listing

1. Create an account and confirm your email address.
2. Go to Add your business and fill in your details.
3. Submit. Your listing is checked automatically and goes live right away.

If your listing looks like a duplicate (the same business in the same city, or the same phone number as an existing listing) or like spam, it is refused and you'll see why. If your business is already listed, claim that listing instead of adding a new one.

Claim an existing listing

Open your business's listing and select "Claim this business". There are two ways to prove it's yours:

• Email code (free). We send a 6-digit code to the business email on the listing, or to any email address on your business website's domain (for example, an address ending in your website's name). Enter the code and the listing is yours.
• Instant claim ($29, one time). Only for listings that nobody manages yet. Pay once and the listing is transferred to you immediately.

Approval is automatic. Claiming a business you aren't authorized to manage breaks our Terms of Use, and the listing will be taken back.

Verified and Featured plans

Plans are optional and bought per listing. They're priced in US dollars, paid in advance by PayPal or card, and never renew automatically. We email you a reminder 7 days before a plan ends. If you don't renew, your listing simply returns to a free listing on its end date.

• Featured badge, and included when customers filter by "Featured"
• Eligible for the Featured section on the homepage
• No ads from other businesses on your listing page

Managing reviews

• Reply publicly. Thank happy customers and respond calmly to criticism. Your reply appears under the review for everyone to see.
• Report fake reviews. If a review breaks our review guidelines, report it. Reviews are hidden automatically when enough people report them. Your report as the owner counts more than a visitor's, but an owner can't hide a review alone.
• Don't write your own. Reviewing your own business or a competitor's, or paying for reviews, isn't allowed.

Multiple locations

If you have more than one location, give each its own listing so it can appear in its own city. Then link the branches to your main listing:

• In your dashboard, use "Add branch" on your main listing. It copies your name, category, description, contact details, hours, photos and more, so you only enter the new address and phone.
• Or link an existing listing as a branch when you edit it.

Each location then shows your other locations, and each keeps its own reviews, hours and plan.

Advertising

Want to reach more people? Buy a banner ad on Advertise: choose a spot, upload your banner and pay. Your ad goes live as soon as payment is complete and runs for one month, and you can renew at any time. Ads must follow our advertising guidelines.
