Directory For USA
Cookie Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local and session storage, that Directory For USA uses. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar: they let a site remember small pieces of information in your browser, either until they are cleared or until you close the browser tab.
What we use
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in cookie | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Until you sign out or it expires |
| Saved profile (local storage) | Keeps your basic profile in your browser so pages load faster while you're signed in. | Until you sign out |
| "Hide ad" choice (session storage) | Remembers that you hid an ad, so it stays hidden. | Until you close the browser session |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks that forms are filled in by a person, not a bot. Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser and device. | Set by Cloudflare |
| Google AdSense (only if ads from Google are enabled) | Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, which can include ads based on your interests. | Set by Google |
We don't use cookies to track you across other websites. We count visits without cookies, using a daily, one-way hashed identifier that we keep for about 24 hours, and known bots aren't counted. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
Your choices
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies and site data. If you block the sign-in cookie, you won't be able to stay signed in, and our forms may not work if the spam check is blocked.
- Ads from Google. If ads from Google are shown, you can turn off interest-based ads from Google in your Google ad settings.
- Hide ads. You can hide individual ads on our pages, and we'll remember that choice for your browsing session.
Changes
If we change the technologies we use, we'll update this page and its "Last updated" date.
