Dr. Wilson knows how important it is that you be provided with your best options, that you be listened to and understood, and of course, that your dentistry be provided in the most comfortable and caring manner possible. Dr. Wilson is committed to helping you achieve your optimal oral health. Having an experienced dentist whose knowledge base is current and whose equipment and methods are state-of-the-art is important to you as the patient. What health professional do you see more than any other? For many people, the answer is: their general family dentist. There’s a good reason for that — it’s because general dentistry is uniquely oriented toward the prevention of disease. In fact, it is estimated that nearly 65 percent of all dental procedures are either diagnostic or preventive. By placing a strong emphasis on oral health and hygiene, general dentists help people avoid the progression of oral diseases. If left untreated, these eventually result in pain, lost time at work or school – and that’s not to mention the additional costs. From subtle changes to major repairs, at Westwood Family Dental, we can perform a variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures to improve your smile. There are many techniques and options a cosmetic dentist can perform to treat teeth that are discolored, chipped, misshapen or missing. We can reshape your teeth, close spaces, restore worn or short teeth or alter the length of your teeth. Common cosmetic dental procedures include teeth whitening and bleaching, crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, dental implants and reshaping and contouring. At Westwood Family Dental, we believe ""Your Teeth Should Last a Lifetime"" and with our preventative dental programs and services, that is what we strive to do. "
